OLPRO Driveaway Awning Kits
A Drive-Away Kit is what makes quick detachment and reattachment possible. Without one, disconnecting your awning from your vehicle is slow and fiddly. The kit consists of plastic figure-of-eight strips and a double-edged Kador fabric strip. You slide one side into your vehicle's rail and the other into your awning tunnel. The result is a secure, weatherproof seal between van and awning.
When you want to leave site, slide the Kador strip out. Your awning stays pitched and freestanding. When you return, line up the van and slide the strip back in. We stock 6mm kits for standard awning rails and 4mm-6mm kits for wind-out awnings (Fiamma, Thule, Omnistore). A small accessory, but it is the one that gives you genuine freedom on your trip.
