This year, We've teamed up with renowned explorer Ed Stafford to create a signature collection of adventurous yet functional tents - perfect for enjoying the great outdoors this summer.
The range blends Ed Stafford's decades of experience, chasing the thrill of the outdoor pursuit, with Our refined knowledge and the newest technology to design a collaborated collection ranging from 2 berth backpacking tents, through to large 8 berth family tents perfect for the summer holidays. The range also features a couple of sleeping bags perfect for cosy nights after an adventure.
Ed's first hand tales of exploration in which he has seen landscapes, wildlife and whole eco-systems hampered by the masses of single-use plastic pollution is one of the core reasons that we knew as a brand, we had to do better. All of the tents within the Stafford range, are made from OLTECH REPRO 210T RPS - Our eco-polyester fabric which utilises recycled plastic bottles to create our waterproof flysheets - breathing those single use plastic bottles, into second life tents ready for adventure.
Plastic bottles are collected, cleaned and sorted into different groups. The bottles which are used for the flysheets, are then crushed into tiny pieces. These pieces are then heated up and pulled into long strands of yarn which then are dyed, and knitted into fabric.
