Campervan Awning Comparisons

Buying a Campervan awning for your van can be quite a challenging task, especially when there’s so many to choose from! So we’ve put together this blog to help you find the right awning for your van.

Inflatable Vs. Poled

First of all, you need to choose whether you’d like to have an inflatable awning or a poled awning. Inflatable awnings are great for those of you who want a fast pitching awning. Inflatable awnings tend to be a lot quicker to pitch due to the fast inflation of the air beams. Inflatable campervan awnings do tend to be heavier than a poled campervan awning, however, the durability and stability of inflatable awnings do outweigh this.

Poled campervan awnings are great for those of you who want to use fibreglass poles or steel poles. Poled awnings are lighter and tend to give you that little bit more room as the poles are located outside, which means there’s more room inside your awning. Another benefit to poled campervan awnings is that it can be packed down into a smaller size making it more convenient for those of you who don’t have much room in your campervan.

Cocoon Breeze Vs. Loopo Breeze

At OLPRO we have a great range of camper van awnings that cater to the wants and needs of everyone. Our most popular campervan awning is the Cocoon Breeze which is a 5 berth tent with a large living area, meaning you have plenty of space. The Cocoon Breeze is also a great awning that takes only 15 minutes to pitch, helping you to have a relaxing and stress-free trip away. What is unique about the Cocoon Breeze is that you can add an extension onto it to have a larger living/porch area. Having this optional addition to your camping kit is great because you can decide if you need the extra space, depending on what type of holiday you’re going on.

The Loopo Breeze camper van awning is not as big as the Cocoon Breeze, however it’s a great addition for those of you who want that little bit of extra space for living and storage. If you need the awning for extra sleeping space, you can purchase a 2 berth sleeping pod for the awning which is easy to attached and detach. The Loopo Breeze only takes 10 minutes to pitch, making it incredibly easy to enjoy your holiday as fast as you can.

Loopo Breeze Vs. Cubo Breeze

As stated above the Loopo Breeze has a lot of benefits, it’s a great size for having extra space for storage and living, as well as giving the option to buy a 2 berth sleeping pod if you want that extra sleeping space. When compared to the Cubo Breeze, it is a larger awning and has that option to add the sleeping pod.

The Cubo Breeze is a smaller awning and is great for those of you who want that little bit of extra space that you may not have in your van. It’s great for storage and living space and has a porch area to keep your outdoor clothes. There is only a 10cm height difference between the Cubo Breeze and Loopo Breeze, but if you are tall and need more head height, we’d recommend going for the Loopo Breeze Campervan Awning.
