The Snug is a poled drive-away awning that attaches to the back of the van rather than the side. It suits solo campervanners and couples who want somewhere sheltered to cook, sit out of the rain or store kit, without the footprint or the price of a full drive-away awning.
It is built for tailgate, barn-door and rear-access vehicles with an attachment height of 190cm to 250cm. Dual 4mm and 6mm beading fits a standard awning rail, and if your van has no rail the tunnel throw-over straps are in the bag. The tunnel has a door on each side, so you can reach the back of the vehicle without going through the living space.
The Snug is made from 150D ripstop Oxford polyester with taped seams and a 5,000mm hydrostatic head, pitched on fibreglass poles over a sewn-in groundsheet. It weighs 11.15kg.
