Stafford 8.0 - 8 Berth Tent

The Stafford 8.0 is the largest tent in the Ed Stafford collection: an 8 berth poled family tent designed with the survivalist's input on OLPRO's build quality. Three blackout inner bedrooms sit around a central living space, so a big family or group can socialise together during the day and sleep apart at night.

The layout is the clever part. Each of the three inner bedrooms can be removed, so the same tent runs as a full 8 berth, or trades a bedroom for extra living or storage space when fewer of you are camping. The living area gives you 210cm of standing height, PVC windows, lantern hooks in every room, a cable entry point for hook-up power and ventilation points to keep condensation down.

Five fibreglass poles pitch it in about 30 minutes. The AQUABARRIER™ four-tier zip system keeps water out of the entrances, and the TERRAGRIP™ peg system keeps the flysheet taut on any ground. The fabric is OLTECH® REPRO 210T RPS, made from repurposed single-use plastic bottles, coated to a 5,000mm hydrostatic head, with a fully sewn-in groundsheet and fly mesh doors to keep the bugs where they belong. Canopy poles, a repair kit and a carry bag are all in the bag, and the whole tent packs to 70cm x 40cm x 40cm at 28kg.
