Rigid poles, solid structure, proven reliability. Our poled awnings deliver dependable shelter built from 150D Oxford Polyester with a 5,000mm waterproof rating. Traditional setup, engineered for British weather.

Extended Winter Returns Policy: For any canvas items, including tents and awnings, purchased between 1st November 2025 and 28th February 2026, the standard 30-day return period will begin on 1st March 2026 rather than on the date of delivery. This seasonal extension is designed to give you a fair opportunity to check and pitch your product once conditions are more suitable, especially if winter weather makes testing difficult.

OLPRO Poled Awnings

Some campers prefer the solid, rigid feel of a poled awning, and we build ours to reward that preference. Fibreglass and steel poles create a frame that holds firm when the wind picks up, giving you a sturdy shelter you can trust through a week of mixed British weather. We make them from 150D Oxford Polyester with a 5,000mm hydrostatic head rating, the same weatherproof canvas we use across our range.

Setup takes a little longer than our Breeze inflatable models, but it is straightforward: assemble the poles, slide them into the sleeves, peg out, and you are pitched. Most of our poled awnings are Drive-Away, so you can detach your vehicle and explore without packing down. As a certified B Corp, we also build many of our poled range from OLTECH RE-PRO fabric, woven from recycled plastic bottles.

Poled Awning FAQs

What is a poled awning?

A poled awning uses rigid fibreglass or steel poles to create its structure. You assemble the poles, thread them through sleeves in the canvas, and connect them at joints and pins to hold the shape. Models like the Cocoon Poled V2 and the Cubo Tall Tunnel Motorhome Awning use this approach. The result is a solid, dependable frame.
