Our Barn Door Canopy gives you cover at the rear of a VW T5 to T6.1 campervan with barn doors and a spoiler. It attaches around the open rear doors and uses one telescopic aluminium pole, giving you a covered space behind the van when you stop.
The 600D Oxford polyester fabric has a 5,000mm hydrostatic head. Its rear-door attachment secures around the door latches and hinges, so check that your door and spoiler setup matches before ordering. Follow the fitting instructions when setting it up for the first time.
At 1.2kg, the black canopy comes with its aluminium pole and a carry bag. Allow around 10 minutes to pitch. It is a rear cover for the specified barn-door setup; choose a shelter designed for a tailgate if your van has a single lifting rear door.+
How to Install the Barn Door Campervan Canopy:
1. Insert the metal right-angle brackets on the ends of the poles into the door latches, ensuring they face the van.
2. Tighten the awning around the rubber door seal by looping the two webbing straps under the door hinges.
3. Once secured, pass the awning over the tops of the doors and the pole, then fasten the bungee cords with plastic balls through the lower door latches. Finally, secure the awning tightly around the pole using the Velcro tabs.
