The Beckford is a 2.2kg backpacking tent that pitches outer-first, so the inner stays dry even when you arrive in rain. For trekkers, wild campers and cycle tourers, it is the lightest way into an OLPRO tent alongside the Stafford 2.0.
Alloy poles and lightweight alloy pegs keep the weight honest, and the whole tent packs to 45cm x 14cm x 10cm: side-pocket size on a big rucksack. The 2 berth inner bedroom hangs under the flysheet with fly mesh to keep bugs out and ventilation points to keep air moving, over a sewn-in groundsheet.
Both the flysheet and the groundsheet are rated to 5,000mm, using OLTECH® REPRO 210T RPS fabric made from repurposed single-use plastic bottles, with UV protection in the coating. It is 3-season rated, pitches in under 10 minutes, and comes with bright guy lines, a repair kit and a compact carry bag.
