Hive Poled - 6 Berth Tent

The Hive is a six-berth poled family tent built around a six-sided living space, with three bedroom compartments coming off the back. Each pair gets their own sleeping pod, and everyone meets in the middle for breakfast. At 240cm high, there's standing room for the grown-ups too.

Five skylights fill the living area with light, and two square windows with closing top vents give you a view out. The bedroom inners are darkened and big enough for a double air bed, and they're removable, so you can take one out and turn it into extra living or storage space.

The front door has its own canopy to keep the rain off as you come and go, plus a flymesh screen to keep the bugs out on warm evenings. Inside, there's a sewn-in groundsheet, a lantern hook and a cable entry point, and the brightly coloured guy lines are easy to spot as you walk around the pitch.

The flysheet has a 5,000mm hydrostatic head and fully taped seams, and the frame combines steel leg poles with fibreglass roof poles. Accidents happen, so a spare bedroom pole and a repair kit come in the box.

Allow around 25 minutes to pitch, and a pitch big enough for the 680cm by 530cm footprint plus guy lines. It weighs 20kg, packs into a 60cm by 40cm by 40cm carry bag, and is covered by OLPRO's Product Lifetime Warranty.
