The Stafford 2.0 is the backpacking tent in the Ed Stafford collection: 2.2kg on your back,
45cm long in its bag, and a 265cm x 175cm shelter at the end of the walk. It is the collection's answer to travelling light without giving up build quality.
Alloy poles and lightweight alloy pegs keep the weight down and pitch it quickly. Inside,
the darkened 2 berth inner bedroom takes the edge off early summer sunrises, with fly mesh to keep the bugs out, ventilation points to keep air moving, and a sewn-in groundsheet underneath. There are no windows and no standing room, and that is the point: it is a low-profile 100cm tall, so it sheds wind on exposed pitches.
The fabric is OLTECH® REPRO 210T RPS, made from repurposed single-use plastic bottles,
coated to a 5,000mm hydrostatic head with UV protection, and the tent is rated for 3-season use. Bright blue guy lines, a repair kit and the carry bag are included.
