OLPRO Campervan Awnings

We design our campervan awnings to fit standard height vehicles between 190cm and 250cm, covering popular models like the VW Transporter and Ford Transit Custom. Choose a Breeze inflatable model and you pitch in around 10 minutes using reinforced air beams. Prefer a rigid frame? Our poled options give you solid, dependable structure. Every campervan awning in our range is Drive-Away. Detach the tunnel, drive off to explore, and your camp stays set up with your gear dry inside.

We build from 150D Oxford Polyester with a 5,000mm hydrostatic head rating, engineered for the Great British Weather. As a certified B Corp, we also craft many of our awnings from OLTECH RE-PRO fabric, woven from recycled plastic bottles. This focus on quality and sustainability is why campers voted us Winner for Best Motorhome and Campervan Awnings in the Camping and Caravanning Club Owner Satisfaction Awards.

Will an OLPRO campervan awning fit my van?

Most OLPRO campervan awnings are made for standard-height vans with an attachment height between 190cm and 250cm. That covers common UK campervans including VW Transporter, Ford Transit Custom, Renault Trafic, Vauxhall Vivaro, Mercedes Vito and Mazda Bongo.

Before ordering, measure from the ground to the point where your awning rail, channel or connection strip sits. If the height is over 250cm, check the tall-tunnel or motorhome awning range instead.

Campervan Awning FAQs

How to attach an awning to a campervan

Most campervans use either a sail track (Kador channel) or figure-of-eight awning rail fitted to the vehicle's side, and attaching your awning is straightforward once you know which system you have. For sail track systems, slide the awning's beading into the channel from one end, working it along until fully inserted, some people use a spray lubricant or washing-up liquid to help it glide. For figure-of-eight rails, thread the beading through the lower channel, which takes a bit more wiggling but locks in securely. Drive-away awnings like our Cocoon Breeze are designed specifically for this, with reinforced beading that handles the attachment and detachment cycle repeatedly. If your van doesn't have an awning rail fitted, you can have one professionally installed or use suction-mounted systems, though we'd always recommend a proper rail for security and performance in typical British weather conditions.
