The Covid Camping Roadmap

With the end of the COVID pandemic hopefully in sight for England, we wanted to put together a Camping roadmap to highlight when you can begin picnicking and camping again!

What you can do now (22/03/2021)

At the moment we are still in the stay at home lock down with the exception of schools starting to return back to normal. However you are now able to meet up with one other person from a different household for an outdoor picnic so you can enjoy those lovely spring walks and picnics with a friend or loved one.

What you can do on 29th March

On 29th March you will be able to meet outdoors or in private gardens with 6 people, or 2 households will be allowed to mix at one time, meaning you can socialise with your friends and family.

What you can do on 12th April

Campsites will re-open with the exception of the campsite facilities still being closed for hygiene reasons.

Hospitality venues will be allowed to serve people outdoors meaning you will be able to go to hospitality venues on your camping trips.

What you can do on 17th May

On 17th May you will be allowed to meet with 6 other people or have 2 households mixing at one time indoors.

Outdoor events will also be able to go ahead if they are in low numbers and spread out.

What you can do on 21st June

By this point the Government hope to remove all restrictions where festivals will be able to go ahead as well as camping with friends and family.

For more information and updates, please see the Government Website for more information here.
