Four Layers of Protection:
The AQUABARRIER™ system combines four innovative features to provide comprehensive protection for your zips, ensuring your tent stays dry and comfortable.
Zip Protector Flap:
A flap stitched to one side of the flysheet with Velcro tabs that cover the zip, blocking water from getting in. While effective on its own, it's just the first line of defence.
Rain Diverter:
A stiff, protruding band of polyester stitched to the opposite side of the zip protector flap. It directs water away from the zip teeth, providing a solid barrier against rain when used with the zip protector flap.
Rigid Zip Protector Flap:
A smaller, more rigid flap behind the rain diverter, angled to protect the zip if wind lifts the larger zip protector flap. This ensures added security against wind-driven rain and gives a second line of cover to the zip itself.
Back Stitched Zip:
A water-resistant material stitched to the back of the zip, minimising gaps and reducing the chances of water seeping through. This final tier acts as a safeguard when other layers are compromised.
