There are so many different ways to enjoy the great outdoors when you go on holiday. Whether it’s camping in a tent, caravanning, campervanning, wild camping or glamping. We wanted to know which activity the OLPRO community preferred the most with our latest Twitter poll.
We found that 52.9% of our customers preferred camping the most. There really is nothing like pitching your own tent in the great wilderness or on a lovely campsite where you can really enjoy being at one with nature. You can also make the most of spending quality time with your friends and family, and going back to the basics of cooking on a nice warm fire.
Camping can be an incredibly fun experience for a lot of people and can also be the cheaper option in comparison to flying abroad, however, you can also go camping abroad and enjoy the views and culture of a different country! We know how much fun camping can be for a variety of reasons, so if you have never camped before, you should give it a go!
Caravanning holidays offer a lot of benefits to your holiday! You still have the ‘homely’ atmosphere with a caravan thanks to the essentials like gas cookers and hobs, running water and toilets. Caravanning can be great for holidays for families with young children or for those of you who love the outdoors but seek a little bit more home comfort.
We found that 23.5% of our customers prefer caravanning! Caravanning can be a great experience as you can travel anywhere around the country or abroad, whilst enjoying the freedom of taking a break in any variety of campsites you like. Caravanning can still be just as enjoyable for those of you who don’t own your own caravan, it’s a chance to escape from your everyday and enjoy a holiday where you still have some home comforts in a campsite of your choice!
Campervanning is a guaranteed fun adventure. A lot of the OLPRO community buy campervans and refurbish them with kitchens and bedrooms so that they can go on their own campervan holidays. Having a campervan allows you to create a space with your own personal touches from home, which helps you to enjoy some of your favourite home comforts whilst away.
We found that 17.6% of our customers prefer campervanning! Many people find that awnings are a great addition to campervans, asthey give you the extra space for storage and sleeping.
We found that 5.9% of our customers preferred glamping as their type of holiday. Glamping is the merge of nature and luxury, for example, going away in a large tipi in the woods and getting to be at one with nature as well.
There are a variety of glamping sites that you can go to worldwide, but it’s a matter of finding the perfect one for you and your family and friends to go to. If you’ve never really thought of camping as a holiday or you haven’t been sure if you’d like it, glamping is a great alternative as you still get to enjoy the beauty of nature but even have those comforts you might expect from a hotel or resort.
Make sure to take part in our next poll on Twitter where we want to know what your favourite campsite activity is!
