OLTECH RE-PRO
OLTECH RE-PRO is a re-purposed material which is available across our full range (2024 products onwards). RE-PRO utilises plastic waste, helping to remove single use plastic bottles from our waterways. For every square metre of OLTECH RE-PRO used, we re-purpose 8 plastic bottles. This fabric is still as durable as OLTECH ever was, with a 5000mm Hydrostatic Head rating and UV Proofing, so you can enjoy the outdoors without harming the planet.
Plastic Bottles are collected, cleaned and sorted.
Bottles are then crushed and processed into plastic pellets.
Yarns are stretched from the melted polyester pellets and spun into fabric.
Tents & Awnings are manufactured from the fibre.
OLTECH RE-PRO 150D
OLTECH RE-PRO 150D is our premium fabric made from remarkably robust 150D material. Our flysheets features an Oxford weave, renowned for its superior strength and durability compared to standard plain weaves. The DWR coating provides an impressive 5000mm Hydrostatic-Head rating ensuring that the flysheet can handle up to 5 litres of water before any signs of leakage. Our products are stitched together using a thick thread and then the seams are heat treated to keep water out. RE-PRO 150D has a UPF rating of 50+ to keep you protected.
OLTECH RE-PRO 210T RPS
OLTECH RE-PRO 210T RPS is a durable eco-polyester utilising 8 bottles per square metre of material. With a 210T (Thread count per square inch) rating, The RE-PRO 210T RPS material is utilised across our full range of poled tents & awnings, due to it's increased durability, reduced weight, reliability in harsh conditions, and long lasting performance. Our 210T RPS incorporates Rip-Stop technology, which prevents large tears due to it's reinforced stitch pattern style, making any tears - easily repairable.
OLTECH 190T
OLTECH 190T is a durable polyester. It's our lightest fabric and is often used across our range of utility tents and beach tents. Perfect for casual camping and milder conditions, the 5000mm Hydrostatic Head rating and UPF 50+ will provide shelter from rain and sun, so you can enjoy your holiday stress-free.
